Mercy Regional Office365 Instructions


These instructions are for use by Mercy Regional EMS staff members as part of their 2016 Office 365 migration:


To begin, go online and login to using your email address and the password provided to you in the page.  Choose the work option if it prompts you.  It will prompt you to change your password.  This will be the password that is used to setup your account on your phone and/or Outlook.


Phone setup instructions:



Go to Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars ->

Select your existing Mercy EMS Mail Account

When the account details are displayed, scroll to the bottom of the window and select “Delete Account”

From the Mail, Contacts, Calendars select “Add Account”

Choose Exchange

Enter your full email address and the password that you just created.

Change the description if you like

Click Next in the upper right hand corner

There should be a pop up message with a Certificate warning ->  Press Continue *

*If the message that it Cannot verify the login message pops up, click ok -> then Save in the upper right corner

The next screen shows what options you want to sync.  Choose those options and press Save in the upper right corner

Note: if you got the Cannot verify message above, go back into the account you just created -> Select your email address

In the server area enter: and enter your full email address in the Username field and select Save in the upper right hand corner.



Tap Settings > Accounts > Select Your Account > Select More in the Top Right Corner > Remove Account > Confirm Removal of Account.

Tap Settings > Accounts > Add account > Email.

Type your full email address and the password provided to you in the page and then tap Next.

Select the Exchange option.

If you receive a message about additional security features. Select OK to continue.

Once the device verifies the server settings, the Account Options page opens. Accept the defaults or select the options for how you want to receive and send your mail, and then tap Next. (You may need to scroll down to see Next.)

On the Set up email page you can change the name of your account. When you’re finished tap Done.

Restart your phone


Outlook Setup Instructions:

In order to use Outlook on a computer, please call in to Kalleo at 270-908-4136 option 2 for assistance

Some clients require an upgrade and we will have to connect to the PC to set it up under your login.  Please have your email address and new password available when you call
